I'm saving soda pop tabs to make belts out of. I'm not very good at removing the tabs though. I tend to either bend the things in half or tear the bottom circle out. Sometimes the whole silver top of the can comes off (no pic's of that though.)

you do indeed have skills. i have seen your beltsand they're AWSOME!! ..............but you should probably leave the collecting of the tabs to the "experienced" tab collectors. incidentally, i thought you were done with all that and have been throwing them away left and right.do you still need more?
Still want that yellow M&M Mars belt?
I would very much like more tabs as I am planning to make a belt for Leah and maybe for a few other people...
I tried collecting them myself for a few weeks before I requested everyone save their soda tabs for me. Do you know how many I had after 3 weeks? Like 4 (from my siblings soda's). It was so sad.
Yes, I would so love a yellow M&M Mars belt!
I need another belt made also if it's not to big a hassle, I brought mine to Florida with me and my sister Jessie fell in love with it, she said a 41 inch(I think) would fit her if it wasn't to much trouble..
I'll help collect tabs, we drink soda's.
Sharri, I will make her one if you'll help collect the poptabs for me.
saweet! She will be so happy :) I will definitely help!
proper procedure for removing pop tops:pull tab up and then all the way forward.immidiatly pull it back and then push all the way down. repeat this procedure 3-5 times until the tab pops off on it's own.
I tried your way to remove the tabs; it does work really well. Just kinda' bends the tab until it breaks off. I'll stick to it I guess.
My way is more enjoyable, because there is a loud twang and a pop as the tab is pulled from the can.
